How to Fight the Bad Smell of Your Toilet

Cleaning our bathrooms and getting rid of bad smells can be a pain in every household. Sometimes it can get a little out of hand and might put a damper on using your bathroom. From chemical products to home remedies, people have come up with many different ways to fight off these bad odors. So, here are some of these helpful ways for you to use and keep your bathroom smelling nice and fresh.

Open The Window and Ventilate the Room

This is probably the best thing you can do because letting in the fresh air and making the bad air go out is the perfect way to slowly get rid of the smell; it tremendously decreases it and makes the bathroom fresh and less stuffy. Also, turning on your air ventilator is great because it will suck all bad smells out, making fresh air spin around the bathroom a lot faster. So, this is a very simple and effective way to get rid of any unwanted smells. The air regulation from an air ventilator can control the flow of air and control the impurities of bad smells.

Clean Your Toilet

Sometimes the problem isn’t just when someone uses the bathroom, so that means that you must do some thorough cleaning of your toilet. Different stains can be the source of a lot of bad smells, as there might be hidden and dried feces particles that you can’t see. An ex-plumber explained over here about the importance of regular cleaning, because various stains can be difficult to remove and clean if they’re left unchecked for too long. This means that you need to get your toilet brush, cleaning products, or household items like vinegar, borax, lemon juice, and baking soda to start cleaning your toilet.

Courtesy Flush

Believe it or not, a simple courtesy flush can make a huge difference when you’re doing your business in the bathroom and don’t want it to smell too bad when you’re done. This is a great way to prevent any bad odors from filling the bathroom; you’re basically stopping it from spreading because you’re always flushing instantly, even when you’re not done pooping yet.

Use Drops

There are a few natural odor neutralizer drops available that you can try out to avoid any bad odors from spreading, which are made out of disinfectants, fragrances, and plant extracts. These handy products can be your solution to the problem. All you need is two or three drops in your toilet bowl before using it. Using this is great, and you won’t have to worry about what people think when they use the bathroom after you.

It might be a difficult task to do, but it’s not entirely impossible to work on making your bathroom smelling great after using it. You don’t have to endure any of the bad smells and you won’t feel embarrassed if someone went in after you’re done with your business. Just remember that consistency and frequent cleaning can save you a lot of time and effort in the future. These tips are your ticket to a fresh and nice smelling bathroom.
