Everyday Family Driving With the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse

I received this car for one week to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Having a family of five with kids who I swear grow by the minute means I need a roomy but dependable car. I admit I am picky on cars as I have driven a lot of cars since I started driving and I know what I want in a car. Most cars I have driven have things I would add or change but recently I drove a car that honestly I would trade my minivan in for.

With three kids in travel sports and my everyday errands, the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse is my new favorite car. Seriously it is a beast of a car that I loved driving for the week.

Here are features that amazed me on the 2020 Chevrolet Traverse:

Roomy! I felt like my family of five had plenty of room – which is important so my kids could spread out. The car actually seats seven when needed.

Controls for the back seat. My kids loved that they could have their own temperature back there rather than the cold air I usually have blaring in the front! In addition to climate controls, the back seat has a regular outlet and USB ports. Perfect for a family on-the-go!

A back seat sunroof – how awesome is that!

Extra room in the trunk for essentials. In the trunk, there is a compartment for stuff you want to keep in the trunk like a snow brush, blanket, reusable grocery bags or so forth without sacrificing trunk space!

Oh and as far as the trunk goes, it is a decent-sized trunk, plus you can flip down the back row for more room.

Best navigation system I have ever used! Seriously you just start typing an address and it finds it. No typing in the city, then the address, then street…

Wireless charging! I love that I have a phone that can use the wireless charging feature and I was able to throw down my phone and it started charging! There are USB ports there as well for when you need them.

Different modes for whatever your road surface is or if you need to tow something.

Starting at $30,995, the Traverse is a great price as well. Obviously the price goes up with more features added but still you get a lot for your money. If you have a big family or just a lot of stuff you bring with you places, this is a great car to get you places. It is especially great if you don’t want to go the minivan route!
