Sharks have always been my favorite animals ever since I saw the movie Jaws. Don’t get me wrong, I am super petrified of them and would never get up close to them but I am amazed by them and the ocean in general. One of my family’s go-to places is always an aquarium whenever we travel. We are fortunate too that we have an awesome aquarium in downtown Chicago, although we don’t get there enough as we’d like to especially during times like this.
In the meantime of not getting our shark and oceanic animal fixes from aquariums, there are luckily a ton of great books available. National Geographic is a favorite of ours because their books are full of photos and facts. They are books too that can be picked up and browsed rather than read cover to cover, which we don’t always have time for.
