Celebrating October & Halloween… With Toys

While Halloween is definitely going to be different this year that doesn’t mean it has to be forgotten about. I have not decided yet what my kids are doing but we are definitely doing some kind of trick-or-treating, even if it’s just to our few close neighbor’s houses. We usually have a huge Halloween party at our house and with Halloween being on a Saturday this year it would have been perfect but we are definitely forgoing the party this year. My daughter’s school also canceled the Halloween party and parade they host every year.

Since I don’t want my kids to totally miss out on the holiday, I figured I would find a way to treat them in other ways such as some fun homemade treats at home and maybe some toy goodies instead of just candy.
