When I was younger, my dad collected beer steins and made a custom shelf for them all around the family room ceiling. I was always amazed at how many he had and how many different designs there could be. He never used them either, just collected and displayed them. My own husband who is of German descent had gotten a beer stein as a gift years ago and always said he wanted another one.
