OjO – Smart Games for Future Innovators

I received products in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

With school being limited hours this year, I have been looking for ways for my kids to learn at home. I picked up workbooks and researched about educational apps but my kids are more about hands-on things. I feel too that my kids get enough screen time and need more traditional playtimes.

OjO is a company that considers themselves game specialists in STREAM Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Math. They want kids to have fun while playing educational board games. While most games do have some educational aspect to them such as counting money, reading questions, problem solving, etc…OjO games teach more complex topics in a away for kids to understand. The games teach topics such as spatial awareness, storytelling, solving missions with robots and even fundamental chemistry concepts.

OjO games are broken into two categories: 2-4 years old and 5-9 years old, which makes it easy to know which games work best for your kids age groups.

Atomic Force Chemistry Board Game

The Atomic Force board game teaches fundamental chemistry concepts. Each player gets an avatar and rolls dice to cross the board from start to finish. Along the way, collect Protons, Neutrons and Electrons and solve different challenges to build simple elements and compounds.

Shape Factory Board Game

Players must work together while one builds an image out of shapes and the other tries to guess what it is. Guess correctly and together move along the production line towards the finish line. Build spatial awareness, imagination and collaboration skills.

Robot Workshop Board Game

The Robot Workshop game offers a simple and fun way to learn about Robotics systems and design features. Inspired by NASA’s Curiosity Rover, children complete missions by working out which components to use when ‘building’ the ideal robot for the mission.

  • All of these games seem like fun entertainment. I know my son would have loved the Shape Factory Board Game when he was younger.
