Friendly Competition with Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain

I received product in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

I have always been a fan of trivia games. Whether it was with friends or on my own, I love hearing and answering random trivia facts. Back when I was first married I remember going home to my parents and visiting and my brothers playing Big Brain Academy on their Nintendo DS. I ended up getting the game and playing it to pass the time while I was pregnant and resting.

Well, now there is a new Big Brain Academy for new and old generations to enjoy with up to 4 players in quick, brain-bending activities (additional controllers are needed). It is a perfect game for friend or family fun night and who doesn’t love some friendly competition. The game Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain came out for the Nintendo Switch just last week and I am sure it will be a hot game for the holidays!

Features of Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain:

Each player can set their own difficulty in multiplayer so that kids and parents can have an even playing field – this is huge because there is a wide range of ages in my family and it is hard to play games fairly.

For a quick mental break users can complete a 5-activity test or practice individual activities in Solo mode

Play a wide variety of fun activities like memorizing a series of numbers, identifying an animal as it slowly comes into focus, or helping guide a train to its goal in fun, fast activities.

Compare scores with friends and family online** or go brain-to-brain against mind-masters near and far in Ghost Clash (Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and Nintendo Account required for online features.)

My kids are in the middle of a crazy sports season before wrapping up for holiday break but we were able to get in a quick game in. We have plans for a family competition this winter break but I admit I may be sneaking some practice in before then. The game is definitely easy to get hooked on and I love taking a break and playing a few rounds. I have always heard how important it is to take brain breaks to help reduce stress, anxiety, and frustration. I used to play a word game on my phone and now I love that I can jump on our Nintendo Switch and do a few challenges in between work or while I am sitting at sports practices waiting for my kids to finish.

BUY IT: Check out Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain for Nintendo Switch on Amazon or wherever games are sold.

  • Oh! I remember this game.
I used to play with my younger sister when I was in the high school.
I didn't know they also release the new one for Nintendo Switch.

I really should give this a try.
