Having Fun With Spybots & the All-Pro Passer

Finding toys that appeal to all three of my kids and keep them entertained are rare, It doesn’t help that I have two older teen boys and a pre-teen girl. Well, I have come across a few toys that are seriously fun and surprised me that my kids liked them. Yes they require batteries which usually I prefer kid-powered but they are worth checking out.

So first off I will say definitely use this toy outside or if inside make sure nothing is breakable around. We used inside since we have snow on the ground outside and it entertained my teens for an hour the first time. It is already sitting on the garage shelf ready for outside use when safe to use outside.

The All-Pro Passer is basically an electronic football that throws a football at you. Users just pump up the platform, hit a button to luck the ball in place and then click to punt it. The ball moves around and shoots up and down for someone to catch it. My son and his friend liked it because you don’t know where the ball is going and who will catch it. By pumping up the platform you determine how far the ball witll go (which is why I say to not do it by anything breakable.) The football is foam but still powerful. This toy is recommending for ages 14 and up probably because if not careful you could hurt yourself. Definitely fun and works though like expected.

This toy has taken up residence in my daughter’s room so she knows when her brothers or our dog goes into her room .It is very simple to use and does actually work, although maybe a little sensitive as a shadow did set it off. Once it senses an intruder it lights up, plays a sounds and moves around looking for the intruder. It scares our dog so he doesn’t go in her room, which is perfect since he likes to eat her stuff! Definitely a fun spy toy!

Okay so we have had spy sets before that claim to let you hear in other rooms but they never work – this toy actually works! Seriously my daughter was in her room with the door closed and quietly talked by her robot and I heard it! Perfect for little spies, although sneaky kids could spy on their parents! The way it works is you place the Spybot somewhere and click off the battery pack. You attach the included earphones in the battery pack and you can really hear what is going on. I wish I could record a video to show how this works but you have to wear the earphones to hear and experience the toy.
