I have always been more of a cookie person rather than any other sweet and buttery shortbread is one of my favorites. Did you know Walkers shortbread has been around since 1898 when Joseph Walker was determined to bake ‘The World’s Finest Shortbread’. I never gave the origin or cookies or shortbread a second thought but knowing that Walkers has been around for over 100 years shows that they are doing something right.
Today, Walkers shortbread is shipped to over 60 countries around the world – all of it still baked to his original recipe, of course. Their line today features a variety of shortbreads and biscuits that include plump fruits, aromatic spices, chunks of real chocolate and wholesome nuts.

Honestly, I am more excited about this than any other advent calendar because it is so unique. Definitely different than chocolate or small trinkets. I feel like it is also perfect because I usually don’t do an advent calendar for myself.
