Did you know that yoga offers tons of benefits? Other than just physical benefits, yoga can improve moods and behaviors as well. It helps the user with their focus, concentration, increased self-esteem and the ability to cope with stressful situations. I have tried yoga and definitely felt better when I was doing it.

I never thought to introduce my kids to yoga but what a great idea it would have been. I mean if adults can benefit so much from yoga, imagine what kids could experience from it.

SpringSpot has created a Power Up! Kids Card Game – Kids Yoga Edition that is an interactive card game that gets kids moving. Being a card game it is perfect for on-the-go yoga fun and easy to keep handy.

With the Kids Yoga Edition, kids can exercise their bodies and minds with yoga in a fun and creative way.  The game involves animals, friendly competition, and strategy – perfect for family and friends’ fun.

You start the game with 2-4 players but kids could actually just look at the cards themselves for practice. Each card features a challenge or a yoga position with an animal photo and directions. Very cute and easy to follow. Younger kids will need help reading the directions but they could too just try to imitate the animals. Younger kids could also sort cards by color, card types or by counting gems on the Challenge Cards Older kids can practice reading and following directions.
