Developmental milestones has become an important issue with me as my 26 month old son, Aidan, is now receiving Developmental Therapy. He has missed milestones and at the recommendation of my pediatrician I signed him up as it is a program offered by the state. The therapist comes once a week for an hour and she has Aidan play with different toys to show him how to do different things and basically teaches him. Seeing the different toys she uses, make me start looking for toys that were not just fun but also challenging and educational. eBeanstalk carries all the big brands and separates the toys into Age Categories which I like. They also have a great section called “Expert Advice” that has questions, milestones, and includes topics from each of the Child Specialists.
Other than selling awesome toys, they also send out posts where a FAQ is answered by an expert and then recommend appropriate developmental toys. I will be posting those FAQ’s for you as I get them!
