Grandma Rocks CD Review & Giveaway (Ends 7/6)

Finding ways to entertain my little guys in the car is always a challenge. We do have a dvd player in the car, but I try no to use it too much because it got to the point where even for short trips they wanted to watch a movie. So now we save the movies for longer trips and for short trips I have been trying to play music or give them small toys.

Recently I was contacted by Grandma’s Shoppe to check out their new CD and it is awesome! Neither of my boys are talking yet, but they hum to the songs and move around. I hate to admit it, but I have caught myself singing along. The songs are all catchy and fun to listen to!

The Grandma Rocks CD is a collaboration from swing to rock, latin to country, to a baby rap. It is really unique and different! Elissa Oppenheim Schreiner, aka Grandma, is an Emmy Award winning composer and Music Educator that has written the 13 song Grandma Rocks CD. All of the songs are performed by top musicians in many different genres that I mentioned earlier. Grandma actually met with groups of children ages 3-10 years old to determine what they really wanted to hear, and she did it by appealing to the adults that have to listen to the CDs too.
