Okay so maybe you read my review of Musselman’s Apple Sauce back in June (read it here), otherwise let me recap it for you.
Well I was sent a whole bunch (actually 6 different packages of their new flavors) and ever since we are hooked. Musselman’s has really added some flavor to apple sauce by introducing Totally Fruit for kids and Healthy Picks for adults. Honestly though I love all the flavors and so does the rest of my family. My 2 year old is actually hooked on the Raspberry Acai!
Musselman’s Totally Fruit comes in three flavors – Apple, Peach, and Strawberry – and offers the sweet taste kids love without any high fructose corn syrup. The apple sauce is actually sweetened with real fruit juice and other all-natural ingredients. To make life even easier, the apple sauce comes in single serve cups, which count as a serving of fruit. So I can give Aidan his own snack size apple sauce container and know that he is eating something healthy. I have also tossed these in my diaper bag to snack on if we are going to the park for awhile.
So now onto my favorite: Musselman’s Healthy Picks apple sauce. Specially designed for women with active, healthy lifestyles, it comes in three delicious flavors: Raspberry Acai, Blueberry Pomegranate and Key Lime Cupuacu. Better yet is the apple sauce is a good source of fiber, calcium, vitamin C and antioxidants. There is also no sugar added, artificial colors, or flavoring. So now I can snack on something healthy and be a good role model instead of not eating or snacking on junk food! It is also comforting to know that Musselman’s has been grower owned since 1949, meaning that the growers who nurture and harvest the apples also own part of the company.
