My sons are just starting to love books and I am more than thrilled. I am especially thrilled when they let me read books to them that are educational. The book “A Happy Halloween” by Leslie Nazarian is not just a boring old educational book, but it is super adorable and has become a favorite with my boys.
“A Happy Halloween” is a book that counts from one to twelve all items revolving around Halloween. The best part thought is the pictures, which are collage images that the author illustrated as well as writing the book. I don’t even know how to describe the pictures other they are not only creative, but also bright, fun, and wonderfully pieced together. The story also ryhmes which is also an added bonus as it really keeps my sons attention. It is a very quick read and my sons sit still for the entire book. I only wish it was hardcover because it is taking abuse from them pulling on it and me reading it so much! Overall though it is awesome and perfect for any child.
