Marshalls Review

So maybe you checked out my other posts talking about Marshalls and T.J. Maxx, well I was finally able to head over to Marshalls and I was amazed. Now I don’t know if it is because the seasons are changing or maybe I just never noticed before, but my Marshalls store has a mega-clearance event going on. All over the store were those wonderful red tags indicating that I could save even more money off!

First I checked the clothes, not that I need anymore, and was impressed with how organized all the racks were. Everything was separated into sizes and then clothing type, so all the sweaters were together, pants, active wear, blouses, dresses and so forth. Well I found a few cute tops but of course not in my size. So I browsed the men’s department, which again was swarming with clearance and organization, but I didn’t see anything that screamed my husband’s name.

So onto the house wares, my favorite section in every store since buying a new house. I wanted everything but since we are trying to slowly buy up stuff like new towels, art pieces, frames, and dinnerware, I decided to hold off. I was very tempted though but I didn’t have a lot of time since my 15 month old was being fussy. I then skimmed the shoes and oh how I love shoes, but I passed since I just bought a few pairs already.

Finally I made it over to the children’s section. Now if you look into my son’s closet it is practically all Marshalls and T.J. Maxx items because I love that I can get Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger for them for a fraction of the cost. Now I admit the toy wall was crazy and a mess but what do you expect from a wall of toys! Then I spotted the best Christmas present ever, I found the Vtech – Smartville Alphabet Train Station for only $19.99 (Amazon has it for $59.99 right now!). My son is going to be absolutely thrilled when he sees it! I figured it would be perfect since we bought my older son a big wooden set for Christmas so now my youngest can have his own (hopefully!) I just could not believe the awesome price on this toy for everything you get (It has 12 learning activities, and 25 Smart Parts.)
Overall, I have decided that even though Marshalls can sometimes be unorganized and jam packed, it really is the best place to shop first because too many times I have bought something and then seen it at Marshalls for half the price! I also love that I don’t need coupons to get a good deal at Marshalls because I also seem to forget them! So whether you are shopping for yourself or a gift, I highly recommend checking out Marshalls first as their inventory is always changing and you never know what goodies you will find!
