Now that my sons are getting older (sob, sob…) I am getting more and more excited about taking them to the circus. I loved it when I was little, even though it was such a special treat that I think I only went once to the actual Ringling Bros. circus. I mean something about a show that has been going on forever, just shows that they know what they are doing and they do it the best!

One aspect I didn’t know is that all the shows in different cities do have differences, but all feature amazing Asian elephants, fascinating tigers, and edge of your seat suspenseful acts! Now when you visit the circus you will receive two experiences in one. One hour before the show, live on the circus floor is an All Access Pre-Show. One show in particular that is coming to Chicago is the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Zing Zang Zoom Show. This particular show not only features magnificent Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, and elegant Arabian horses, but also magic and illusion. I read that a four-ton elephant disappears before your eyes, a trapeze artist spins one-armed high atop the arena floor, and female human cannonballs are blasted through the air! And that is just some of the mesmerizing fun that you will see! Also, instead of a ringmaster, there will be a Magical Zingmaster, Alex, and his assistant , the alluring Levitytia, which will lead the audience “through a kaleidoscope of color and imagery revealing extraordinary worlds of fantasy, flight and phenomena that celebrates the uplifting spirit of the circus and wards off a cynical Mr. Gravity and his team of “heavies” who try to bring everyone down.”

I am super excited as we are all going and I can’t wait to see my sons eyes when the animals come out! We are of course going early for the pre-show too and I hope that eases them a little and prepares them for the show.
