Green Works Now Tackles Laundry!

There are so many ”green” products out there, and I honestly love to try them all.  Some eco-friendly products have a bad rep for being “green” but maybe not doing the job it is supposed to.  I am sure it is hard to come up with a green product that not only is eco-friendly but also is just as powerful as the regular product.

Laundry in my house is always a challenge, between stains and sensitive skin in the winter, I am always looking for new products.  Well Green Works by Chlorox Their Green Works line is designed to make it easier for mom to incorporate green living into their household and every day chores.  You may also know Green Works as the makers of the ever-expanding line of natural household products.  Until  last summer, their products just covered the bathroom and kitchen, but now Green Works is conquering laundry rooms everywhere!

The Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent is a dermatologist tested detergent that is safe on colors and made with natural, plant-based ingredients.  There was no yucky chemical residue and I felt good that it wouldn’t leave my son’s skin feeling irritated.  The detergent comes in dye and fragrance free bottle too and it comes in 30-load and 60-load bottles.  Oh and if you have a high-efficiency washer, it is also specially formulated both both standard and HE washers.

The Green Works Natural Laundry Stain Remover  combines the stainfighting abilities you expect from a Clorox product with a determatogist-tested, color-safe product.  I never thought of it before but since I have to use a stain remover on practically every one of my son’s articles of clothing, I want to be careful of chemicals.  My youngest son had excema really bad last year and the doctor said his skin could continue to be sensitive especially in the harsh-winter here in Chicago.  So this year I am being proactive and using laundry products on him that are gentle but still work.  I used this spray on all of their stains so far for two loads of laundry and it rocks!  It got rid of pasta sauce, soup stains, and pudding!  I admit though I did spray the items right away like you are supposed to, but it worked and I am thrilled that I don’t have to throw the item away anymore!

Overall, I am very happy with the Green Works laundry products.  The results (or lack of) sold me and I am thrilled that it is also free of harsh chemicals.  I am excited too to check out the other Green Works products as I haven’t tried out them out yet!  They also offer a Satisfaction Guaranteed where you can get your money back if not happy, so what do you have to lose trying it out!  Make sure you print out a $3 off coupon HERE!
