Help End Childhood Hunger with a Bake Sale (& $20 Visa Gift Card Giveaway Ends 6/3)

In an effort to help the more than 17 million hungry kids in America, Domino Sugar and C&H Sugar have partnered with Share Our Strength Great American Bake Sale.  They are encouraging thousands of bake sale registrations, providing delicious recipes and donating valuable funds for this important cause.  In 2009 there was 7.600 bale sale registrations and they raised over $1.3 million, and this year the goal is to have 9,000 bake sales and raise $1.8 million.  The ultimate goal is to end the problem of childhood hunger in our country by the year 2015.

MY THOUGHTS:

I applaud Domino Sugar and C& H Sugar for stepping in and what a great idea!  I mean who doesn’t love a bake sale, especially when the money is going to a worthy cause!  If you are clueless as me or just want inspiration, you can even find all sorts of Tips & Tools on the Domino Sugar website including, Location Ideas, How to Promote, Printable Signs & Tags, Fun Ideas, Pricing Suggestions, and Presentation ideas.

Now I would love to have a bake sale and help the cause, but with two little ones, they would eat all my potential profits!  So since I am not able to host my own bake sale I have decided to pass on a $20 Visa Gift Card to one lucky winner whom I hope will have their own bake sale and donate their bake sale funds.   The $20 gift card is perfect for you to get started on your bake sale supplies!
