MY THOUGHTS:

First off, I think Gourmet Gift Baskets is an awesome idea.  I mean there are so many people that are hard to shop for and with birthdays, holiday, and anniversaries it makes it hard.  I know I struggle with shopping for my friends and family and sometimes I just don’t have the time and I mail a card with a gift card.  I know that is boring to receive, but I figure it is the thought that counts, right?  Well with Gourmet Gift Baskets you can pick out a basket and have it delivered the day you want.  So yes if you are remembering your mom’s birthday now by her a basket and schedule in advance the arrival date!  I love that because it is nice to get a gift on the actual birthday or holiday, and with Gourmet Gift Baskets you know you are sending a quality gift.  Their website also makes it super easy to shop as there are categories to choose from to help you narrow down your choices.  Each basket will also give a nice and full description of what’s inside so you know exactly what you are purchasing!

I received The Barbecue Boss (Grilling, BBQ, Marinating, Cooking Condiments) Gift Basket and my husband was thrilled!  He could grill every day and is always looking for new ideas.  With this basket he received some sauces to marinate with, some rubs for various meats, some Cedar grilling papers and some Asian grilling skewers.  I personally love the basket the best, as it has become a permanent fixture in my kitchen!  Now yes I could have probably made this basket but it was so nice to not make it! If I had to shop for all the products and the basket, put it nicely together, package it up well, and then go to the post office with two kids, I would have probably just said forget it, so the idea of shopping when I want for a nice item that I can choose the delivery date, sounds perfect to me!  You can even type up a message and pick a card type to go with it.  I personally think it is a great gift idea!
