MY THOUGHTS:

My boys have a few small PLAY-DOH toys to make shapes and spaghetti, but I admit they get bored easily with them.  They do love their PLAY-DOH though so I am constantly challenged to find a new way for them to make their creations.  Well when I saw that the PLAY-DOH Mega Fun Factory was battery operated I was curious.  My boys love the Mega Fun Factory, and that is even an understatement!  When I opened it up my 2 and 3 year old sons played with it for almost three hours straight, which is completely unheard of with a toy!  There were some kinks in the beginning with sharing but soon they had it down and took turns.

To operate the PLAY-DOH Mega Fun Factory, you put PLAY-DOH in one end and push down.  Then the PLAY-DOH comes out flat, which you push down a thing to cut it and a conveyer belt moves it down the line.  You can then choose whether you want a toy or dessert and stamp down on the PLAY-DOH and again at the end you cut it.  The Fun Factory is super simple to use and really is cool.  It even comes with a giant play mat to put your creations on.  It does take two “C” batteries which are not included but I figure it is not as bad as needing six or more “AA” batteries and so far we have not had to change the batteries and my boys have played with it pretty much every day since they got it!

I highly recommend the PLAY-DOH Mega Fun Factory for any child as there is so much to do and make that it is hard to get bored with.  It is also the first battery operated PLAY-DOH toy that I have seen which I know may not be appealing to everyone but it is definitely fun.
