  • MY THOUGHTS:

I admit I have not seen “The Sound of Music” since I was a little girl and I am not really sure why I haven’t watched it since.  Now that “The Sound of Music” is on Blu-ray, it really does make the movie that much better.  The quality and crispness of the scenes are amazing and even the sound is better (it was also remastered.)  Even those this film is from 1965, it feels like it is from now as the movie really does pop and make you feel like you are in “the Hills!”  I would highly recommend this for any fan of “The Sound of Music” or just anyone who loves classics / musicals.  There are also tons of bonus features to check out that I haven’t even watched it all yet!  The best part too though is that this comes with both the Blu-ray disc and a regular DVD so it is like two for the price of one!

BUY IT: You can buy “The Sound of Music” wherever DVDs are sold or check it out on Amazon for $19.99.
