Musselman’s Fall Recipes – Apple Cider & Apple Butter

We are slowly entering winter, but on these last crisp cool fall days we have left apples are also a good choice.  With Thanksgiving around the corner there are plenty of reasons to bake up a storm.

Musselman’s has three popular fall recipes that are sure to be a hit – Musselman’s Hot Mulled Cider, Awesome Apple Butter Breakfast Cake and Apple Butter Cheesecake.  The recipes feature Musselman’s Apple Cider and Musselman’s Apple Butter.  Now if you have never tried out those Musselman’s products, you are really missing out.  I first tried them when I went on a Musselman’s trip a few months ago and ever since I have been hooked.  I have been able to find the Musselman’s Apple Cider at my local Walmart and the Apple Butter is available at my Target.

I found I really like the Apple Butter on toast or English Muffins and I am super excited to try it out as a marinade too!  It is like an applesauce but thicker so it can spread evenly.  The Musselman’s cider is also so much better than the store brand one I have been buying at my local grocery store, I didn’t think there could be a big difference in apple ciders but there is!  I am also thinking of making the Apple Butter Cheesecake for the holidays instead of the traditional pumpkin or apple pies we usually get.  The Awesome Apple Butter Breakfast Cake sounds perfect to make if we ever have guest spend the night or visit in the morning, it would be such a treat!
