PARTY TIME:

I got the chance to have a few friends over for a MommyParties sponsored by Episencial and share some great Episencial products.  I was having some kids over for a toy party and I figured while the kids are playing with the toys I could share some great non-toy products with my mom friends.  First, I handed out the gift bags I had gotten ready the night before, the moms were excited to get “swag bags” of their own!  I mentioned the name “Episencial” and none of the moms had heard of it before.

Each Episencial bag contained:

• Full size “Playful Foaming Wash (hydrating hair & body cleanser)
• Sample of Sunny Sunscreen SPF35 (water-resistant protection for face and body)
• Sample of Better Body Butter (silky soft hydrating lotion)
• Sample of Soothing Cream (for eczema, itches, and bothered skin)
• Sample of Playful Foaming Wash (mild & ph neutral cleanser)

I myself had only used the Episencial Sunny Sunscreen before and I love it so I was excited to try out a few more of their products and share it with other moms.  As a mom we all care about what we put on and in our kids so it was easy to talk to other moms about how great Episencial is.  So first all the moms took out the products and starting checking them out.  They were surprised to learn that they are natural products that are gentle enough from newborns to toddlers and up!

Features the moms at my party loved:

• Adorable packaging design featuring Eric Carle (which many of the mom’s kids were also familiar with!)

As a host I received full-size bottle of the other Episencial products and I made sure to lay them out so guests could check them out for themselves.  The moms loved reading the packaging, opening them up to smell them and rubbing them into their skin.  It was definitely nice to show the product line rather than just give out a few small samples and tell moms to look for the Episencial line next time they buy baby/kid products.  A few moms even tried it on their kids right there to see how their kids liked it.  I know for me my youngest has eczema so I smoothed some of the Soothing Cream on his arms to show the moms how easy it rubs in and coats the skin.  Moms also loved how the packaging looked kid-friendly and that it would be easier to put on their kids since the bottle didn’t look like an “adult product,” “medicine ointment, or “boring.”

Overall, I think the party was a hit and have no doubt that a few will be swapping out their current kids bath and body products with Episencial products.  The only negative remark I heard was about the cost and yes Episencial products do cost more then other brands, but not much more.  For example the Playful Foaming Wash is $9.00 a bottle and other brands are usually $3-$4, but the benefits of the Playful Foaming Wash make it worth the few extra dollars.  All the moms were excited to try out the samples and product they received.
