This holiday season shoppers can save money by choosing private brands at their local grocery store.  Private brands of foods and everyday items are offered at most grocery stores and typically they are the equivalent quality as the more expensive national brand names.  By using store brands, consumers can save a little money on their grocery bills and splurge on something special, such as a celebratory dessert. SUPERVALU’s family of grocery stores carry a number of private label product lines, including Culinary Circle^®, a premium national brand of restaurant-inspired food; Stockman & Dakota^®, hand-carved premium USDA Choice Angus beef; wild harvest^® natural and organic products; and Stone Ridge Creamery^® ice cream, among others.

All products included in the gift bag below (with the exception of the Chef’s Guide) are private brands carried by SUPERVALU stores.  The Chef’s Guide is a mix of traditional recipes as well as dishes that are a bit more exciting. Finding inspiration from other cuisines and cultures (there are a few dishes from Susan Feniger with a Latin twist, and some from Gerry Garvin with a Southern flair) can be a fun way to spice up the typical holiday meals this year.
