MY THOUGHTS:

This is a cute Barney DVD whether your child is a Barney fan or not.  My boys (2 and 4 years old) are just getting into nursery rhymes and it was great to incorporate Barney and friends acting out these nursery rhymes.  The DVD is almost an hour long and my boys love to have it on in the background while they are playing.  They are not huge Barney fans, but they do love the music and how there are real-life kids playing along with Barney (nice change from animated shows.)

“Barney:  Mother Goose Collection” is a great deal though as it also comes with a Bonus Music CD that includes five nursery songs and a 64-page Activity Book!  I thought is was great to include those two bonuses because it just enhances my sons’ liking of Barney.  As much as I honestly don’t like Barney (nothing personal) he really is a great role model and his show teaches some great lessons.  I am all for too my boys watching and learning from Barney!
