MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love to play with their little kitchen and until now they just had basic food items – and they are the cheap ones.  The Pretend & Play Ice Cream Shop is awesome and my boys love it!  It is a whole 18 piece set that includes everything to make some great ice cream treats!  First there is an apron for one child to wear and while it is small, it is cute and kid sized.  Next there is a menu to check out to see what the choices are.  It is just cardboard and I am thinking of laminating it because my boys really like to use it as a reference card and show it off to people to see what they want.  After giving my ice cream order, my boys fight over who makes what but there is enough for them to each make something.  I love how the ice cream scoops fit into an ice cream container so it looks like you are really scooping ice cream out!  I actually can’t think of anything missing from this ice cream set!  Oh and the chocolate syrup even has a string coming out of it so it looks like syrup is really coming out!

The set is durable and I can see it lasting us through many ice cream parties.  There is even of everything to go around and it can be stored back in the box if you’d like, but we ended up keeping it in our plastic food container.  My boys get such a kick out of making ice cream treats for us and they are learning the different flavors, how to prepare treats, and work together!
