Schick Play it Smooth Contest (& Giveaway Ends 4/15)

Schick Disposables has kicked off the Play it Smooth Promotion in conjunction with the Rock Band 3 video game.  Schick is excited about this promotion as it is the first time Schick Disposables has combined all their brands to offer both mean and women a fun and engaging sweepstakes.  The partnership will be promoted on-pack, giving consumers a chance to enjoy their love of music with the brand they rely on for their shaving needs.

From now through April 2011, specially marked Schick disposable razor packs will include a special code to download Free Exclusive Rock Band 3 ProTracks at www.schickplayitsmooth.com.  This site will give fans a chance to embrace their love of music through song downloads, games and a unique sweepstakes.  Consumers can download three songs exclusive to Schick from talented emerging artists:  Hourcast, The Gracious and Johnny Cooper.  A stop by the Schick Play it Smooth Facebook page offers even more opportunities to win!

There is also a Schick-sponsored Rock Band Setlist Battle from April 6^th – April 13^th where consumers can compete to win the “Ultimate Rock ‘n Roll Trip” to visit the Fender guitar factory in Corona, California and a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

MY THOUGHTS:

I go back and forth between a replaceable razor and disposable razor, but when I do use disposables it is usually a Schick product.  I love the Schick Quattro for Women Disposables and my husband uses the Schick Xtreme3.  I feel I get just as good of a shave with disposables and I can just throw them away when I am done with them.  The Schick brand is also a brand I trust and their products are affordable and found everywhere I shop!

I love the partnership with Rock Band 3 because I am always looking for new music for our video game but it costs money to download additional tracks, so it is great that Schick is offering it for free!  It is also a great way to check out new artists by buying something I (a razor) would be buying anyways!
