1-2-3 Textured Products Craft Kits Review

ABOUT:

1-2-3 Textured Products is a company that professionally designs and manufactures individual activity packs for preschoolers nationwide and in Canada.  (They also offer monthly subscriptions of kits, great for day care providers or homeschool curriculum.)  The projects are based on early childhood education curriculum and developmental hands-on fun.  They include different textural materials, colors, and craft ideas for kids to try out.  Inside the kit is everything you need and it is pre-cut to get started right away.

MY THOUGHTS:

I am by no means a crafty mom, although I admit secretly I wish I was.  What I like about 1-2-3 Textured Craft Kits is that everything is inside and it is geared towards younger kids, ages 2-5 for a fun and educational activity.  There are so many craft kits out there that are too complicated for my boys, expensive, and require some pre-work for mom of cutting or something.

1-2-3 Texture Products Craft Kits are available in a wide variety that are sure to spark any kids interest.  They come in:  Zoo Animals, Reptiles, Forest Animals, Holiday, Winter, Party Time, Summer Fun, Fall Fun, Pond Creatures, Christmas, Farm Animals, Insects and Transportation. Other than Craft Kits, they also offer Sticker Kits and Activity Packs.

I got the chance to check out the Train set and my almost 3 year old loved it.  We don’t typically do crafts (like ever) so he was so excited to use a glue stick (which is not included) and sprinkle the different items on the train.  I love that it was precut for me and came with just the right amount of mixed items to decorate the train with.  Gavin got a kick out of the way they felt and looked, although I did have to explain it wasn’t candy!

Overall, we had fun and it is definitely a great set for a quick craft and something to entertain kids.  It would be a great little gift to include, something to keep for rainy days or at the grandparents house!  I do wish there was more to do or maybe a little bigger but it worked for him.  Also, beware it can get messy!
