Chili’s Restaurant and Margarita Review

ABOUT:

Chili’s has been peppering things up since 1975. Starting as a small burger Dallas burger joint, Chili’s now has restaurants all over the world as they continue to cook up casual fare with genuine service.

MY THOUGHTS:

Chili’s is the one restaurant that my boys do great in.  They get their kid slushies and chips & salsa, and they are happy campers!  So since they behave well in the restaurant we tend to visit Chili’s a lot.

For starters, we always get the chips & salsa, which are bottomless (unlimited) and we usually eat two baskets worth!  Since I’m pregnant I usually get water when we are out, while my kids love the red and blue slushies and my husband of course has to get the Presidente Margarita.

The Margarita is nice though as it comes in its own shaker and then you pour it yourself into your margarita glass (its about 2.5 cups worth for around $7.)  The Presidente Margarita contains hand-shaken Sauza Conmemorativo Tequila, Patrón Citrónge orange liqueur and Presidente Brandy. (Also available in Blackberry, Strawberry or Mango!)  Chili’s also has a whole bunch of other margaritas to satisfy your thirst including a pomegranate margarita, tropical sunrise top shelf and more!

For dinner we usually get something different each time, but our favorites are usually the Steak Fajitas and Crispy Chicken Tacos.  The portions are decent and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day!  My boys love the Pepper Pals Corn Dog Meal, which comes with a corn dog, fries and a drink, you can though substitute the fries for a variety of other sides (healthy ones included!)

Chili’s also always has a great deal going on, whether it be lunch specials, drink specials or their popular 2 for $20 meals.  The four of us can usually eat for somewhere around $35, which I find reasonable (especially since we usually have leftovers!)  Whether you are in the mood for a burger, ribs, sandwich, salad, seafood, chicken or tacos, Chili’s has pretty much something for everyone.  I honestly have yet to even get sick of Chili’s and like I said we eat there a lot!  Oh and their desserts are to die for, so I’d recommend saving room!
