Disney On Ice presents Mickey & Minnie’s Magical Journey

I love the Disney on Ice shows and have seen more than I care to admit to!  Most of the Disney on Ice shows feature one particular show, like Toy Story or even Disney Princesses so I wasn’t sure what to expect from “Disney on Ice presents: Mickey and Minnie’s Magical Journey.”

Well the show features Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto sharing some of their magical journeys all over the world.  The journey’s involve The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Peter Pan, and Lilo & Stitch.  Each journey tells the movie story in a summary form and acts out a few of the main songs.  I had never seen Lilo & Stich before so it was nice to see that act because now I don’t feel so clueless about it!

(It was Olivia’s first ice show and she did great!)

While the show was not as fancy (not sure if that is the right word I am looking for) as other Disney shows, my family and I liked it.  My favorite parts of the show though involved Peter Pan and the gang actually flying over the ice and the giant bad guys (Ursula and the Alligator.)   The show ran about two hours with about a fifteen minute intermission.  If your child is a Disney fan, it is a show not to be missed!  Adults can appreciate the costumes and ice skating while kids can enjoy their favorite characters!
