“Helping babies Sleep On-The-Go” SnoozeShade Review

ABOUT:

The SnoozeShade was created after a mom got fed up with her daughter constantly waking up to lights while out running errands.  She needed something that she could quick and easily pop over her stroller while out so her daughter could continue to sleep.

Features:

  • Maintain your child’s sleep schedule when away from home
  • Universal fit for all popular strollers/car seats
  • Simple and easy to attach Velcro straps
  • Protects baby’s delicate skin from the sun with UPF50+
  • 94% of light blocked to created darkened and cozy sleep environment
  • “Sneak-a-peek” access to check on baby
  • Lightweight, compact and portable with a free storage bag
  • Protection against mosquitoes and other insects

MY THOUGHTS:

While my kids are sound sleepers, light does tend to wake them up sooner than I’d like.  I have tried draping blankets over our strollers and infant car seats but the blankets usually fall off or I feel like they are going to smother the child.

SnoozeShade really is an awesome idea!  It is lightweight enough so its not going to smother your child, its easy to attach and stays, it blocks out 94% of light, and it fits nicely in my diaper bag!  Before you think that SnoozeShade is another product you don’t need believe me I’ve been there, until I started using it. It is a Sun Shade and Mosquito net in one!  Both of those products I have but I admit I have never used them!

Most recently I used my SnoozeShade for Infant Car Seats when we went to a restaurant for lunch.  Olivia slept through the whole time!  I didn’t have to disturb her either when I was attaching and removing it!

(Yes the SnoozeShade should go under the carrying handle but with my toys attached I couldn’t, it worked fine for me though by putting it over.)

The SnoozeShade Original though has been great for when I am outside with my boys watching them play.  I can now bring Olivia outside for some fresh air while she is sleeping and not worry she will be bothered – before I had to leave her inside and keep checking in on her.  This is going to be especially nice next year as we have tons of mosquitoes by us as it will be nice to protect her from those as well as the sunlight while we take the boys to the park.

As far as installing both of them, it is just a few Velcro straps and then it has an elastic enclosure that pops over your car seat or stroller.  They are really universal too as they are stretchy and big enough to adjust to different car seats and strollers. Oh and they both have a little zippered slot so you can peak in and check on your child.

BUY IT:  Check out SnoozeShade online for $29.99 to $49.99!

  • I got one of these as a present over the summer (the one for the stroller). My daughter Jacqueline fights to go to sleep and this shade has really helped. I can check on her without waking her too.
