Terri Lee Doll Review (& Giveaway Ends 11/30)

ABOUT:

Terri Lee dolls were a fashion icon to thousands of little girls across the country throughout the 1940’s and 1950’s.  Her wardrobe consisted of over 500 different exclusive costumes and accessories, each made with high quality fabrics.  Now celebrating its 65^th anniversary, the doll company has created a new line of dolls.  These dolls appeal to contemporary kids while pleasing parents with their wholesomeness and age-appropriate role-play ability.  The new Four Seasons collection features four 15 inch dolls in seasonal themes.

MY THOUGHTS:

This Terri Lee doll is so precious.  At almost two feet tall standing up, she is both a collectors doll and a doll to play with.  She comes with her outfit she is wearing and a brush, clothes are removeable.  While her arms and legs are posable she is a stiffer doll.  So I’d say more for a 3 and up child since she is not soft and cuddly.  This doll is sturdy though and would handle daily play.  I just love her hair as it is so soft and shiny and I love that she comes with her own little brush.  Its funny when I first went to brush her hair I didn’t realize she had a hair net on!  Overall though I love that this doll is a classic (Terri Lee has been around since 1946) but brought back for a new generation of girls to love and play with.  The other three dolls also look adorable and its cute how they are fashioned around the seasons (Swing Into Spring, Summer by the Sea, Ready for Recess and Winter Wonderland.)
