MY THOUGHTS:
KRE-O is a new building block line from HASBRO geared towards kids ages 6 and up. I love that now only are KRE-O bricks easy for my boys but they are compatible with the other brick building sets they have. While there are bigger KRE-O sets (over 500 pieces) these smaller sets (just over 100 pieces) are perfect for a quick fun-filled activity. Actually its not just fun but teaches kids patience, following directions, how taking your time and with a little effort they can have a good outcome.
The MIRAGE KRE-O set contains 119 pieces to build two KREON character – the MIRAGE Transformer and a Race Car. When you build it as a race car you can even put a KREON figure inside to drive it! My son is only about 5 years old and needed help building it, so I would say ages 6 and up is accurate. My husband actually had a lot of building it because it brought him back to the old Transformer days! Once put together it stayed in place pretty well but with rough playing it will start to come apart. The directions though are very clear and visual to easily put back together.
I would recommend KRE-O building sets for any builder, Transformer fan or just as a fun little set for quick building fun!

our Kreo guy is one of the very few building set things that has managed to stay together with most (if not all) the pieces even thought it wasn't put up to stay safe. We could use some more of these sets for sure.
