Ross Dress for Less Review (& Giveaway Ends 12/20)

Ross Dress for Less is the nation’s largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain with over 1,000 stores in 27 states.  Ross has more stores nationwide than TJ Maxx and Marshalls and in retail; size means purchasing power so more stores means more savings for customers!

Savvy shoppers will find the same brand names from department stores for 20-60%  less at Ross!   Items include Clothes and Accessories for Women, Men and Kids, Shoes, Home Décor, and even items for Pets.

Last month marked its initial entry into the greater Chicago area with the grand opening of 12 new locations.

MY THOUGHTS:

So last month I got to visit a Ross Dress for Less before the store even opened and I was definitely impressed.  I am so excited to have them in our area and can’t believe I have never heard of Ross before with them having over 1,000 stores!

My first impression of Ross was “Wow they have something for everyone!”  You just look around the store and there are sections clearly labeled and the store is clean and organized.  The clothes feature the current styles, first-quality, and even brand names.  Now if you have never been to a Ross store before it is more of a TJ Maxx/Marshalls than a Kohl’s.  There is not going to be ten of the same shirt but rather tons of one of a kind items, with of course some repeats.  The items are constantly changing (daily shipments) and there is so much to look at!  I was super excited that I found so many great sweater dresses and shirts in my size, that actually fit me!

Next was Shoes and Accessories, lots here too.  I ended up with a pair of Cars shoes for my son for like $12, retail price $25.  There was tons of kids clothes to sort through and of course toys.  My favorite though was the sweater dresses I got for $9.99 each and knit name brand tights for $2.99 each!

Housewares had items for every room of your house from kitchen gadgets, to office storage containers to decorations and even small furniture pieces.  It was like the store kept on going!

Ross also offers a variety of great gifts for the holidays with many items available for $5, $10, and $20.  Some of the items include candles, toys, fragrances, vases and picture frames.

While Ross does look nice, it is a basic store with no frills.  The merchandise is displayed and with the prices so low the items fly off the shelves anyways!  There are changing rooms for clothes, but your not going to find mannequins and store displays all over.

Overall, to tell you how much I like Ross Dress for Less, I have been there a total of three times now in the past six weeks!  You could though go there everyday and find something new!
