    Ross Dress for Less is the nation’s largest off-price apparel and home fashion chain with over 1,000 stores in 27 states.  Ross has more stores nationwide than TJ Maxx and Marshalls and in retail; size means purchasing power so more stores means more savings for customers!

    Savvy shoppers will find the same brand names from department stores for 20-60%  less at Ross!   Items include Clothes and Accessories for Women, Men and Kids, Shoes, Home Décor, and even items for Pets.

    Last month marked its initial entry into the greater Chicago area with the grand opening of 12 new locations.

    MY THOUGHTS:

    So last month I got to visit a Ross Dress for Less before the store even opened and I was definitely impressed.  I am so excited to have them in our area and can’t believe I have never heard of Ross before with them having over 1,000 stores!

    My first impression of Ross was “Wow they have something for everyone!”  You just look around the store and there are sections clearly labeled and the store is clean and organized.  The clothes feature the current styles, first-quality, and even brand names.  Now if you have never been to a Ross store before it is more of a TJ Maxx/Marshalls than a Kohl’s.  There is not going to be ten of the same shirt but rather tons of one of a kind items, with of course some repeats.  The items are constantly changing (daily shipments) and there is so much to look at!  I was super excited that I found so many great sweater dresses and shirts in my size, that actually fit me!

    Next was Shoes and Accessories, lots here too.  I ended up with a pair of Cars shoes for my son for like $12, retail price $25.  There was tons of kids clothes to sort through and of course toys.  My favorite though was the sweater dresses I got for $9.99 each and knit name brand tights for $2.99 each!

    Housewares had items for every room of your house from kitchen gadgets, to office storage containers to decorations and even small furniture pieces.  It was like the store kept on going!

    Ross also offers a variety of great gifts for the holidays with many items available for $5, $10, and $20.  Some of the items include candles, toys, fragrances, vases and picture frames.

    While Ross does look nice, it is a basic store with no frills.  The merchandise is displayed and with the prices so low the items fly off the shelves anyways!  There are changing rooms for clothes, but your not going to find mannequins and store displays all over.

    Overall, to tell you how much I like Ross Dress for Less, I have been there a total of three times now in the past six weeks!  You could though go there everyday and find something new!

      I love Ross Dress for Less so much that I have to stop myself from going in there. I know I will find all sorts of things I never knew I needed. I love that I can go in there looking for something and I usually find it. At a deep discount!

      Ross has been a favorite place of mine since I was younger and had no money. Now as an adult I’m just a smart shopper. I recently introduced a friend of mine to Ross and he was so impressed he got all his Christmas shopping done there. Everyone loved their gifts! You can’t go wrong with this place.

      My Ross dress for less is in Shreveport La. 45 miles away. I so love this place!! It is the best for christmas shopping!!

      Love, love, love Ross, been several in Oklahoma for quite a long time. Great gifts for everyone and lots of seasonal merchandise. Everything at affordable prices.

      I live in Iowa so we dont have one close but we go to Las Vegas twice a yr to see family and I love the one there

      You will enjoy it as long as you have good staff there who cleanup the place.We have several Ross’ in TX and based on your pictures, this is the cleanest and neatest Ross I have seen…hopefully it will stay that way. They do have some good deals on clothes, shoes, toys but sometimes checkout can be long and a pain…

      I love Ross! We live in the country, so the nearest one is in “the big city” 🙂 but it would be worth a trip to shop there!

      Unfortunately, the closest one is 280 miles away from our house. However, there’s plenty nearby when we go visit my In-laws!!

      I could have used this last week when I was in Las Vegas. The Ross store by my hotel got some of my money!

      I love Ross! Definitely my go to shop when my wardrobe needs a little boost. May have to give my Ross at Chesterfield Town Center a visit soon!

      I’m closest to the Ross store in Warner Robins, GA or Albany, GA which is the same distance for me.

      I don’t have to look to tell you there is one in Lawton, OK where I live now and there was a Ross in Destin, FL where I moved here from. I would feel bereft if there were no Ross here!
