MY THOUGHTS:

For my first child I had a Boppy pillow and I ended up only using it a handle of times for both him and our second child.  With my third child though we have been using the mombo practically daily!  When she was just a few months old I would use it to bottlefeed her in more comfortable (for both her and I) position and as she gets older she likes to use it for tummy time and lay in.

What makes the mombo stand out is that it has one side that is more firm, which is great for feeding, and the other side is soft for lounging.  There is also a bonus feature of having a plastic disc inside that vibrates the pillow.  To turn on and off the vibrations you just push on the pillow which is nice, there is no digging for a button inside or button on the outside that could scratch the child.  Olivia’s six months old now and she still smiles everytime I lay her on it and turn on the vibrations!

So far I have just spot cleaned the cover but it does come easily off to machine wash it.  The fabric on the soft side is also velvety so it is soothing for babies.

Our favorite use for the mombo with Olivia at six months old is tummy time.  Whether I have her on it to work on tummy time and help elevate her or I flip her over and lay her on it for more playtime or naptime.

Overall, I have found the mombo is a great product that will grow with your child from newborn and up.  For breastfeeding I can see it being a big help, but even for bottlefeeding I found it helpful to support Olivia and let me hold her in a comfortable position.  I think the mombo is a product you need to see for yourself, especially if you have used a similar pillow in the past and not liked it.
