MY THOUGHTS:

My boys love trains and the show Dinosaur Train so I figured they would like the new Arctic Adventure Motorized Train Set.  It is a 8ft. long (although its much smaller since you form it in a figure eight type track-style) train set that has three carts and three dinosaurs.  The front of the train required two AAA batteries, which are not included, and then you easily tap the steam to make the trains go.  My 3 year old had no problem snapping the tracks together which is nice since I am not always able to help him.  There is also a little train station piece that my sons thought were cute as one played the conductor and made the Dinosaur Train stop to buy tickets.  The bridge/tunnel piece though is cardboard and basically looks nice but is not too functional.  So far the cardboard has lasted but I give it a few more playtimes before it is ripped, I do wish it was plastic.   Also, the dinosaurs have a little hole in one of their foots so they can be snapped onto the train cars but I was not able to get them to stay on.  My boys just throw the dinosaurs in the train cars and go, which works fine.

Overall, this is a cute set for any Dinosaur Train fan and since it is motorized that gives to extra excitement for kids.  We had no problems with the train going around the track.  There were a few design changes that I would make (plastic tunnel instead of cardboard  and easier way to stand up dinosaurs) but it is simple for young kids and thats what counts for me.
