Potty training!
my youngest is working on cutting teeth - I hope she loves Barney like my older ones did!
we are learning how to spell
How to swallow his food because he has a feeding dysfunction
I know this isn't the norm, as most parents here have small children. But...as they get older, there are STILL things that we're working on with them. For instance: (careful, this list may get really long lol)
-put your dirty clothes IN the hamper, not next to.
-put your clean clothes in drawers so that the cats don't get cat hair all over them and then we find them on the floor next to (note, not IN) the hamper...STILL FOLDED from the last wash!
-put your shoes on the rack that sits so gingerly next to the front door....not in the doorway where we trip over them. (Dad now puts their shoes on the front porch...they can get them out there now!)
Need I go on.....
But setting all humor aside, I really enjoyed my kids in every stage in their lives. I used to complain about picking this up or that up and my grandma always said to me, Tami, there will come a day when you WISH you had those toys to pick up." As my oldest is getting ready to leave for college next week, 4 hrs from home, it will be more quiet around here and I'll wish I had his books to pick up. :)
we are working on counting right now
We are working on colors and reading short words with my nephew.
Sentence Structure :)
we are working on math
My granddaughters are working on writing letters
