Trumpeting Media “R & R” Suite #BlogHer12 #TMRR

During the Trumpeting Media Event at BlogHer there were five brands I got to check out: Beaches, FitBit, Evologie, PepperRidge Farm and The Four Seasons New York. FitBit was the only company I was somewhat familiar with as I bought myself a FitBit last Mother’s Day. Here is a breakdown of all the companies:

Beaches: I had no clue there were two resort types – one for couples and the other for families. Alcohol included? Yep! We were considering a cruise for our ten-year wedding anniversery but on a cruise, alcohol is not included so that is something to think about. Sesame Street is also the character theme for the families resort. I thought the prices were pretty comparable to a cruise or other vacation, once you think about the cost of room, food, and activities.

FitBit: I heart my FitBit. It is a fancy pedometer (as I like to call it) that is pretty dang accurate and when you want you sync it via USB or by walking by a USB point hooked up to your computer. You can then keep track online and compeite against your friends. I definitely walk more knowing that the average goal is 10,000 steps a day and I need to acheieve that. So when I normally would ask my kids or husband to bring me something, I now get up and get it myself as well as walking about two miles every night. To me it was well worth the $90 I paid for it.

Four Seasons: Fabulous hotel in New York. We even had a chef demonstration showing off their fabulous food.

Oh and what is an event without some pampering? I got my first manicure (I have no nails so I typically don’t get manicures) and a back massage. The event definitely went by its name being Trumpeting Media & The Four Seasons New York Present “The R & R Suite.” It was relaxing and informative at the same time!
