Captain America is the House! {Costume Review from Wholesale Halloween Costumes}

So my 4 year old is a superhero fanatic and he would dress like one everyday if I let him! His newest favorite is Captain America from the Avengers. Now I could go to my local mass retailer (dragging of course three kids) and buy him a costume or I could shop online and get it delievered to me. Shopping online is a no-brainer for me!

After doing some research, I found Wholesale Halloween Costumes to be quite reasonable and they had a huge selection. My 4 year old chose the Captain America Avengers Classic Muscle Kids Costume (one of many of the Avengers costumes available!) It comes with a headpiece and jumpsuit, with the jumpsuit having padded muscles. My little guy absolutely loves this costume and if I let him he’d live in it! The costume is 100% polyester and it does run small. For example, for my average size 4 year old, I chose the size Medium (7-8) and it fits him perfectly. Depending on where you live, take into account that your child may be wearing a coat under the jumpsuit especially for Trick or Treating – here in Chicago its usually coat weather and why spend money on a costume you are going to hide under a coat!

Overall, I found shopping for his Captain America easy and fun. Before I did a search for “Captain America” I decided to click Boys Costumes New for 2012, and I sat with my little guy so he could browse the costumes. Then we searched “Captain America” to see all the different varieties available. I will say I was bummed the costume didn’t come with the shield, which of course is a must have, but I was able to purchase one separately for less than $10. Oh and the Captain America costume was less than $25 and it is the same quality you’d find at the store!

Wholesale Halloween Costumes even has 2-day delivery for all of you that wait until the last minute! I would recommend buying a few costumes (maybe one for each child, or just for dress up) as shipping is only $7.90 for flat delivery no matter how big your order! Each costume even has accessories they recommend so you don’t forget anything and don’t have to go searching for them.
