As a mom of three kids five and under, I go through a lot of detergent. With my baby girl (well she’s not so much a baby anymore at 18 months) I wash all of her clothes separate with a sensitive hypoallergenic detergent. My 4 year old had bad eczema as a baby and still has bouts of it and my daughter has sensitive skin that I don’t want to irritate, especially with the cold weather we have in Chicago. Luckily detergent has never really bothered their skin, but I don’t want to take any chances and prefer a gentle detergent for my little ones.
Purex Baby Detergent is hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested and formulated to be extra gentle on your little one’s skin. It leaves clothes smelling fresh and clean and won’t harm the flame resistance of sleepwear. It has the same tough-on-stain fighting formula as regular Purex but it is specially formulated to be gentle on baby’s sensitive skin. So yes it will remove those stubborn baby stains (spit-up, poop, milk…) but it won’t irritate their soft skin.
I love that I can use Purex Baby Detergent in my high-efficiency washer (yes it works in traditional top-loading washers too) and the best part is that it doesn’t cost a fortune. I admit with my boys I used Dreft for Babies for a few months and then it was just so expensive I slowly stopped buying it. Purex Baby is cost effective, meaning I save money on a safe detergent for my family without jeopardizing quality. The smell is amazingly fresh and I have started using it for all of my children’s clothes, including our own. Purex has done it again and made a detergent I love and want to use for my family.
