Hasbro Bejeweled Game {Review}

 

So I admit when I heard there was a Bejeweled board game I was skeptical but curious.  I mean how could they make the game into a physical board game?  Well Hasbro did it and honestly it’s pretty neat!

First you put all the pieces you can (64 to be exact) on the board game.  Place them anywhere, just don’t put three anywhere together on the board.

To play you take turns trying to put three of the same colored gems together.  You swap two gems by lifting them out.  If you can’t make a set then you can replace the middle pieces with fresh ones.  It is actually pretty neat and definitely different.  My 6 year old has become quite the strategizer!

You even get a code for the online game to play:

 

You get tokens for each color set you match and the goal is to make three tokens for three sets of colors.  You can of course make your own challenges and goals.

Even my 19 month old couldn’t help but jump in and “try” to play.

Overall, Bejeweled is a great game for any Bejeweled fans or just someone who likes puzzle games.  We don’t have a game like this so it was neat to play something different.  Everything fits nicely back in the box and within minutes of set-up the game is ready to go.
