To say my kids love Skylanders would be an understatement but I admit I do miss when they would actually build and play with toys rather than play video games.  Well Mega Bloks has found a way to keep Skylanders fans happy and moms happy with a Mega Bloks Skylanders set your kids can build then play with!

Grab the cannon and take aim – Eye Brawl needs to shoot down an attacking Drow Zeppelin with Zeppelin Air Ship Assault by Mega Bloks Skylanders Giants^TM. The buildable Drow Zeppelin is an aerial menace to Skylanders everywhere. Eye-Brawl’s got his eye on it and needs to use his cannon to shoot the Zeppelin down to deal with the collectible translucent Troll Greasemonkey pilot.  Ideal for kids aged 5 and up.

First off even though the Skylanders Zeppelin Air Ship Assault set is from Mega Bloks, it is not made with the big Mega Bloks you may be thinking of.  They are the small building blocks, better for older kids (ages 5 and up) who don’t want the chunky Mega Bloks.  This set features one Skylander (Eye-Brawl), a big Zeppelin to build and a few more small pieces.  At 133 pieces, there is just enough to keep kids busy but not too many they can’t do it on their own.  My boys (4 and 6) had a blast building this set and my they were actually able to build it all on their own.  This is the perfect set for Skylanders fans who just can’t get enough Skylanders. My boys are too funny they keep this set down by our Wii and their Skylanders.  These pieces do connect with the other building block sets they have.  Overall, we are loving the Skylanders Air Ship Assault set and will definitely be adding more Skylanders pieces!
