Wonder Forge is a company that makes award-winning games for kids of all ages. From preschoolers to teens (or adults who are kids at heart) there is a game for everyone. There are games featuring Minnie Mouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Dr. Seuss, Marvel Super Heroes, Chuggington, Curious George and more! Last year my family and I got to check out some of the Wonder Forge games and we loved them. The games were different than the ones we usually we play and it was a refreshing change.
This year just in time for Easter we got the chance to check out two of the new games coming out this Spring from Wonder Forge!
Disney Matching Game
Easter’s even sweeter with favorite Disney characters and picture-matching fun! The classic game of picture matching gets all dressed up for Easter. Mickey, Donald, Tinker Bell, and all your favorite Disney characters show their Easter spirit in colorful matching tiles.
This is the classic Memory game we all love and grew up with, but this one is pastel colored and with Easter Disney characters. What I like about this game is that you can play with as little or as many pieces as you’d like. For example with my 19 month old I put down just a few pieces but for my boys I put down all the pieces. My little girl is loving recognizes all the characters and the pieces are great for her to start practicing. There are all the favorites like Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Thumper and more. While this game is an Easter edition, we will be playing with it year round.
Nickelodeon™ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™ Clash Alley™ Strategy Board Game
Beat the bad guys in this action-packed 3D strategy board game! Run, climb, and leap as you race through the 3D warehouse on important missions to rescue April, recover objects–and even pick up a pizza! On the way, your Turtle must battle mutants, Kraang, and Shredder.
A board game with Teenange Mutant Ninja Turtles, yes please! My boys just started getting in the Ninja Turtles and I love that there is a board game for them to play. They love the action figures but something about playing a board game just feels more fun for the whole family. This game I will say is a little complicated at first as there are a lot of rules, but once you get the hang of it its fine. You can of course make your own rules, which is what we ending up doing since my boys are only 4 and 6. The game is neat though as it has different levels for a 3D effect and there are dice and cards to use in the game. Each player has a Mission to accomplish which is neat because each time the game is different. We have played this as a family and my boys have played on their own and each time there has been nothing but smiles and laughter. It is a great game for learning decision making and problem solving. I love it though because it has so much built into it that its different than other games we have and play.
