Six New Ice Cream Treat From Weight Watchers!

Disclosure: I was sent all the new flavors to review in exchange for my honest opinion. Please see my Disclosure Policy.

Weight Watchers has come out with six new ice cream treats and of course I had to try all six of them!  Thank you to Weight Watchers for sending them to me and letting me indulge!  The flavors include two updated classics and four totally new ones in line with today’s trends.  Each treat is made with real ice cream and is low in fat and calories, keeping of course with the Weight Watchers PointsPlus value of 3 or less.  They are a perfect way to treat yourself without feeling guilty!

New—Weight Watchers Greek Frozen Yogurt Bars

Greek yogurt has exploded in the past couple of years as a popular snack, so why not offer people a frozen version of the snack they love? The new Blueberry Swirl and Peach Swirl Greek Frozen Yogurt Bars are made with low fat Greek frozen yogurt and real Blueberry and Peach fruit swirls. Each bar offers the nutritional benefits of Greek yogurt including 2 active cultures and 5 grams of protein with just 80 calories and a PointsPlus value of 2. No spoon required!

New—Weight Watchers Snack Size Red Velvet Ice Cream Sandwiches

Staying right on trend with the current red velvet craze, the Snack Size Red Velvet Ice Cream Sandwich is made with low fat cream cheese frosting flavored ice cream with a red velvet chocolate swirl between red velvet chocolate wafers. It has 100 calories, 1.5 grams of fat and a PointsPlus value of 3 per sandwich.

New—Weight Watchers Chocolate Smoothie Frozen Yogurt Bars

For traditional frozen yogurt fans, the new Chocolate Smoothie Frozen Yogurt Bars are made with low fat frozen yogurt and real chocolate to satisfy cravings with just 60 calories, 1.5 grams of fat and a PointsPlus value of 2 per bar.

NEW—Weight Watchers Cookies & Cream Dessert Bar

This treat offers three levels of cookies & cream goodness in one bar. It’s made with low fat cookies & cream ice cream with a chocolate cookie fudge swirl dipped in a rich chocolaty cookie crunch coating. And as if that wasn’t enough, it has just 120 calories, 5 grams of fat for serious indulgence at a PointsPlus value of 3 per bar.

NEW AND IMPROVED—Weight Watchers GIANT Latte Bars

The classic GIANT Latte bar is better thanks to an even creamier low fat coffee flavored ice cream base. Coffee lovers will swoon for this treat which weighs in at just 90 calories and 1 gram of fat and a PointsPlus value of 2 per bar.

Like I said I got the chance to try out all six flavors and honestly I can’t pick a favorite, they are all yummy!  Depending on what mood I’m in is which I choose, whether it be chocolate, Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream, Latte or Fruit-Flavored.  The ice cream is just enough calories that I don’t feel guilty snacking on one before bed, which is of course when I am really craving a snack.  I have also been known to sneak one in the bathroom for a quick (and delicious) break from the kids, I say the bathroom because then I don’t have to share!

If I had to pick one though it would probably be the Latte bar, and I don’t even like coffee.  It is a good size creamy ice cream bar that gives me a pick me up.  My son loves the Cookies & Cream, yes I did share one with him.  I will say though some of the bars are small and I ended up having two to really satisfy my craving, which I know defeats the purpose.  I don’t follow the Weight Watchers points system but I can see it being beneficial to know the exact PointsPlus points.  They are great though to have on hand whether you are following Weight Watchers or just looking for a low-cal treat.  They come in great varieties that the only problem you may have is choosing just one.
