Growing up, Mike and Sulley shared just one dream: to get into the Scaring Program at Monsters University. Join the fun on campus as these two monsters learn to appreciate their differences, develop a lifelong friendship and train to compete in the famous Scare Games! LeapReader brings the story of Monsters University to life with exciting 3D effects and helps build reading comprehension and vocabulary skills! (3D glasses included.)
Works with LeapReader and Tag Reader; both sold separately.
We are huge Monsters Inc. fans in my house and can’t wait for the new movie Monsters University to come out and we are huge Leapfrog fans. A combination of the two, yes please! Yep you read right, Leapfrog has added a Monsters University LeapPad game and a Monsters University LeapReader Book. My boys were so excited to see them, they didn’t know which to play first, so they each took one and then swapped later!
This book is awesome! First off its a hardcover so it is pretty durable, especially when you have three kids fighting over it. The glasses are made of thin cardboard which honestly didn’t last in my house, but you do not need them to still enjoy the book. Now we have other LeapReader books, but nothing newer, and this book is so different. You can literally touch the LeapReader pen anywhere and there will be sounds or words read. The old LeapReader books we have are not as interactive as this one, which is probably why this book is $14. Your child can have the whole page red to them, touch words individually, touch the pictures and with the glasses on kids can enjoy 3D fun. My kids (6, 4, and 1) all enjoy this book, which is definitely a rarity in my house as they all have different tastes. I recommend this book for any LeapReader owner as it is adorable, educational and fun!
