Hide-n-Go Fish From Learning Resources {Review}

My almost 2 year old is a very curious little girl.  She is constantly checking things out and I can tell by the way she is looking at things that the wheels are turning in her head.  The Hide-n-Go Fish by Learning Resources is a great toy for kids that is both educational and fun.

Fish around in the bowl and enhance tactile and sensory awareness. Catch fish by feel in 3 different colors and sizes—vinyl flaps over the opening ensure you can’t peek! Then snap the fish together like pop beads for fine-motor practice, extended learning and play.

Includes 10 pieces: 9 fish and 1 bowl

So first off the Hide-n-Go Fish is a a plastic blue bowl that comes with nine rubber fishes.  Kids can put them in and take them out and even snap them together.  I was skeptical at how much fun she’d get out of this fish bowl but she actually really likes it.  She has even started carrying it around the house with her since her fishes are inside.  What is so fun about this bowl is that it has multiple uses.  I am working with Olivia on picking out the different colored fishes (“Can you give me a purple fish?”), Picking out a different sized fish (“Which fish is bigger or smaller?”), and Counting the fish.  When we are all done we store all the fishes inside it and put it away.  I figure too when she is bored with the fishes I can put other things inside and have her pull them out.
