LeapFrog Game: The Magic School Bus Dinosaurs {Review}

My boys love their LeapPad tablets (read my review of the LeapPad Ultra here) and they love dinosaurs, so finding “The Magic School Bus Dinosaurs” learning game was perfect.  It is a game that is not only educational (yeah for dinosaur trivia and tasks) but also fun (dino games and exploring!)

Learning Skills:

• Dinosaur facts
• Life science concepts
• Observation skills
• Sorting and classifying
• Logic and reasoning

Some things kids can do:

• Explore prehistoric lands
• Dinosaur trivia
• Studying and assembling fossils
• Run, fly and play as 16 different prehistoric creatures

This is a great game for any dinosaur lover or a child who wants to learn more about dinosaurs.  From games to trivia, the game does everything in a fun way where kids don’t even realize its educational!  Since the game is from Magic School Bus it has that same vibe as the books which I then told my boys all about.  My boys are younger (5 and 6) and didn’t realize what Magic School Bus was.  I love that my boys are focusing their attention on learning about dinosaurs which leads them then to think about history.  They actually asked to go to the museum to learn more about dinosaurs!  The game may be hard for younger kids as the names of the dinosaurs and some facts may be hard for young kids, but it challenges them then to learn them.  This game may get boring for older kids once they learn about all 16 dinosaurs but we haven’t made it that far yet.  For the price though, I do think the game is worth it and it is something different than all the character games out there.
