New Accessories & Cars From MOTORWORKS {Review}

A few months ago I was introduced to MOTORWORKS by Manhattan Toy and my boys fell in love.  Not only can you build your own car but you can completely customize it and then do it all again! With a wooden body and then interchangeable plastic snap on accessories the possibilities are endless for creations.  The best part is that these toys are affordable and moms won’t mind picking up a few extra accessories or cars.

After a hugely successful launch of MOTORWORKS, they have now added some fresh snap-on accessories to the convertible chassis – and yes they are interchangeable if you have MOTORWORKS already!  I love that we don’t have to buy new cars and we can use these accessories with cars we already have.  Too many times I feel like companies change up the new products so the old ones become obsolete, luckily that’s not the case here!

I got the chance to check out the EXX Atomic Rider 2.0 and the Top Fuel 2.0 Accessory Kit and my boys (5 and 6) as well as my 2 year old daughter had a blast playing with the new pieces.  Of course you have to be careful with kids who put the pieces in their mouths because they are choking hazards so I just let my daughter zoom the car around.  My boys love to change up the tires the most and have big tires in the back and little ones in the front.  My 5 year old especially gets really into it as he loves to draw monster trucks and with his MOTORWORKS car its like he can bring his drawings to life!  The pieces are plastic and easy to snap in and out for little hands.  The car body itself is durable wood.  We keep all the pieces in a ziploc bag and my boys break out their bag of parts almost every day and create a new car.
