mod. Premium Camera Straps and Accessories {Review}

Disclosure:  I received the product below in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Last year I discovered a company called mod. which changed the way I carried my camera.  I got the chance to check out their Drop in Pouch for my camera and it has been an awesome pouch for my camera when I carry it around in my diaper bag.  Before that I had been just throwing my DSLR camera right in my bag, yeah not very safe, because I hated bulky camera bags.

Well mod. makes other great camera accessories including camera straps and cap savers.  So goodbye to boring ole’ black camera straps and hello fun straps that not only reflect one’s personality but also are comfortable to wear!

The mod. Camera Straps retail from $21-$35 and I look at it that if I am going to spend all this money on a camera then why not go all out with a fabulous strap!  It is also a great way to find your camera when your out with others who may have the same camera or to just find it by glancing for the strap.

The camera strap that came with my Sony NEX camera was boring black and very thin.  I absolutely love my new mod. Strap.  Its plush fabric that is thick enough that I don’t feel like I am going to drop it and its strong.  The strap industrial strength webbing will support up to 70 lbs. and some even contain quick release adapters.  The strap is very easy to install to install on all standard DSLR/SLR cameras.  Whether you are an occasional photographer or professional, a unique comfortable strap is a must!

The next must-have accessory for a camera that has a lens cap is a Mod Cap Saver.  Now I have owned two DSLR cameras and honestly lots my lens cap immediately.  Those small little caps just are easily lost and so I was thrilled to check out a cap saver.  What it does is easily wrap an elastic band from the camera onto a cap saver to hold the lens cap near the camera.  It makes it easy to pop off your lens cap, take your pictures and then snap it back on.  No losing it and risking damaging your lens!  I honestly went to put this on my current lens cap and its MIA, so as soon as I receive a new one I will be wrapping this one on.

I am only holding the cap saver on my lens in this picture because I didn’t have a lens cap to attach it to.  The Cap Saver does have a sticky on it to attach it to your lens cap, which I will do as soon as my new one comes in!

Normally the lens cap would be hanging there:

Overall, mod. is a fabulous store for camera accessories and their products are proudly made in the USA.
